You may have the experience that after reading or studying
the message of The Infinite Way ® or listening to an audio
recording (that way you actually attend that class), that you do
not feel well, become ill, etc. And you ask yourself: "What
is this message, do I have the right message, what is happening
to me?" etc. Don't worry. NOTHING! Joel had the same
experience when he taught a class in Johannesburg and the people
were so ill for a few days afterwards that they had to stay in
bed. And they asked the same questions "What's

spiritual teacher…I’m emphasizing that—spiritual
teacher—has no ties to his student. He has absolutely no
human ties. The student is under no obligation to the teacher,
the teacher is under no obligation to the student.The
teacher’s only obligation is to live up to his or her own
spiritual integrity. They owe no man anything but to love them,
and the only way they can love them is by maintaining their own
spiritual integrity and not violating it. And so a teacher owes
nothing to anyone but himself or herself, and what he owes is the
maintaining of his own conscious oneness with God. Now, a student
owes nothing to a teacher. A student owes it to himself or
herself to live up to the highest sense of right of which they
have understanding, to live up to their highest sense of
spiritual integrity, and that’s all they owe to
anyone—just to themselves. So that the bond between a
spiritual teacher and a spiritual student is a bond of divine
love, not human love. It is a bond of spiritual love, not sensual

CLASSES. Joel NEVER gave a class prior to meditating and being
imbued with the Spirit of God. Otherwise it would be a message
from his own human consciousness and that is no power. The
message should be from the Consciousness of God... that is

MEDITATION
is the most important issue in the message. In many a book one
will find info about it. But WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF MEDITATION?

Moreover one can learn from 1956 2nd Steinway Hall Practitioner
klas ..tape 147B .. Godrealisation is pure demonstration what the
purpose of medition is and is not.
For
those of you who experience difficulties in meditating or cannot
be immediately in meditation ...... In the August, 1985 Monthly
Letter Joel has made a chapter called "Preparations for

If
you go to God to have communion with God, do this as if you would
go to your mother. Joel tells us about his search for God and the

There
is a Monthly Letter fully devoted to "meditation for
beginners". It is the Monthly Letter July, 1955.

ONENESS also is a key-teaching in The Infinite Way®. There
are many books, monthly letters in which Joel emphasizes on it.
Basis is of course Jesus'statement in John 10:30 "I and
my Father are one". For briefness' sake I limit myself
to a wonderful unfoldment of a student. Joel did very much

NOT SPEAK BUT LISTEN TO GOD.
As said in The Infinite Way® we do NOT speak or plead, etc
to God but we LISTEN to God. God is always speaking to us but God
is a Gentleman and only speaks when w e open ourselves for
God. Joel teaches us that God is NOT in this world. God IS but w
e !! must open ourself for God. How? Do meditate. In the 1955
Kailua study group – tapeno 116 B – "Our relation
with God and with each other" Joel does elaborate on this
issue. .

MESSAGE: Joel did receive the message on the same moment as
the student did receive it through Joel. He clearly has said:
"Consider that you do NOT get m y opinion... you get an
unfoldment specifically given to me and I merely transfer it to
you." So the students were taught at the same time as Joel
was taught by God. In this respect I refer you to Joel's

MONTHLY
LETTER. The Monthly Letter is the most important activity of The
Infinite Way®. For more info I refer you to "The Infinite

You'll find over there also an example of the Monthly Letter - in
english of course. One can also obtain from The Office on CD
Joels classes as well as the transcripts thereof.

The
BASIS of The Infinite Way® one can read - among other things -
in the 1952 Honolulu Class Series II Side 1 in which Joel said:
"The whole basis of The Infinite Way teaching is: that there
is not God AND. There is not God AND health or God AND Power or
God AND Immortality or God AND supply. There only IS God
manifesting Itself."

PROBLEMS. Joel teaches us NOT to cry and complaint when being
confronted with problems, but consider them as opportunities to
go deeper inside of yourself and be more and more aware of God.
For a good explanation I refer you to chapter 2 (= february
Letter) of the 1958 Monthly Letters called "Problems aren't
problems anymore." Do not try to plead to God to solve the
problem but go inside and contemplate on God as ALL Wisdom etc.
In this connection I also refer you to a powerful, detailed
meditation that can also be used when having problems for your

The Infinite Way® teaches us that God IS Consciousness ...
your and mine Consciousness. Only one person is more awake to IT
than the other. Jesus was fully awakened to IT so that God, the
Spirit of God, could do these "miracle-works" through
Jesus.

class since we - in silence - make contact with God for
