I was informed that on the Internet are circulating - in full
and free publication - taperegistrations of Joels Classes. This

Apart from taperecordings (legally belonging to The Infinite Way
Offices) there are some publications from the (legally belonging
to me) Holland Classes 1955-`1959. I am dismayed and bewildered
about all this. This must have been done beyond my knowledge,
without my permission let alone that I did give any cooperation.
This was a complete surprise. This must be regarded as I L L E G
A L publications *) . It is NOT in accordance with Joels
teaching. If one studies his works and specially "The
Spiritual Journey of Joel S. Goldsmith" it will be clear
that Joel was fiercely opposed to publish his classes- just like
that in the wild - to the great masses . "Do you really
think they will listen and understand?" He preferred to give
his classes to small groups of whom he could know they would
grasp his message.
In his lifetime they offered Joel fortunes if he only would
broadcast his message thru the radio c.q. television and Joel
always refused that. I, Bertus, regard all this a big disdain and
gross insult to all these LEGALLY WORKING STUDENTS who - at the
cost of so much have been occupying themselves for years in
making available these recordings for a worldwide public .
I do make an urgent appeal to all of you NOT to lower
yourself to this ILLEGAL TRASH (Bertus canNOT guarantee the
correctness of this illegal material) and only use LEGALLY
published works by Joel. In my website one will find ample
opportunities how to LEGALLY obtain Joels work. *)

the Holland Classes) have been published in full; fully a g a i n
s t Joels teaching.
If you think I am unique in this, let me refer you to
"Across the Desk" of the November, 1957 Monthly Letter
in which Joel relates of people who think they can enrich
themselves at the cost of The Infinite Way c.q. misuse it for own
evil purposes!
I have NO means to stop this, I can only warn the students
and strongly advise them NOT to listen to c.q. study this TRASH!!
Let these heathens rage. Disbelief any word these heathens
say. It is NOT true. They only prove themselves that they do not
even grasp the message of The Infinite Way. And unfortunately
there are more of the heathens raging.
Please, please do NOT have feelings of hate and of revenge
etc, but do pity on and have mercy with these pour souls. As
Jesus said: "They do not know what they are doing".
Join me in meditating and praying for them so that they too may
awaken to the Truth and stop their illegal actions. They think
they are enriching themselves, but in fact they are only
impoverishing themselves.

THE TAPE CLASS:
( taken from the Acropolis Books website) : What is a tape
class ?
A tape class consists of students gathered together to hear
one of Joel’s lectures and for the sheer joy of meeting with
those of like mind. The basic idea of a tape class is to open our
consciousness to “truth” and thereby help develop a
deeper level of spiritual awareness. As this awareness deepens,
Serious students experience spiritual harmony « appearing as »
material harmony where material discord was once seemingly
apparant. This is the “natural result” of their deeper
awareness of God and is referred to in the Bible as “the
added things”. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God
and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto
you." (Matthew 6:33) – These classes begin with a
brief meditation After the tape or CD is played another
meditation is conducted. This concludes the class. Then we
quietely leave the meeting place so that those who have received
something from the tape class can carry it home for quiet
contemplation and meditation. The atmosphere of these classes is
one of inner reflection and meditation. In order to prepare your
consciousness for an atmosphere of truth, it is recommended that
just before you attend a tape class, you spend some time reading
Joel's material, contemplating and meditating on truth. Reading

Bertus :
As you see a tape class is NO tea party or a meeting for
discussion. It easily degenerates into : «I think it is
this” .. “No I think that” etc. That is only human
and it must be the Spirit flowing through. During the class we
immerse ourselves in the Spirit of God.
I (= you and I as person) must decrease and "I" or
I (= God) must increase !!

READ THE WONDERFUL AND MIRACULOUS WAY JOEL WAS LED TO THE
HAGUE - TO ISABEL- TO GIVE HIS HOLLAND CLASSES. CLIC ON: joelled.
So, it is not surprising that these Holland classes belong to the
Spiritually highest classes Joel ever gave. Joel always got much
inspiration when giving his classes over here in Holland.

SPECIFICALLY HOLLAND REGISTRATIONS 1955 - 1959
FIRST: Please do understand that the Infinite Way Holland is
NOT a subsidiary of the Infinite Way Offices in Moreno
Valley/California nor do I, Bertus, sell any tapes neither by
Joel S. Goldsmith nor by any other teacher. Neither do I sell any
books. I am NOT involved in any of this in any way. So: for

SECOND: During 1955 thru 1959 (more then 60 years ago) Joel
has given various classes in Holland. My predecessor-translator,
the late Heloise van Brakel-May, did say to Joel that she would
take care of translating the Monthly Letters and Joel was so
pleased and delighted that someone was prepared to cut down the
language barrier, that he gave Heloise permission to do so and he
gave the taperegistered classes 1955 thru 1959 as a personal
GIFT. However, the audio recordings were immediately after
recording and are still protected by copyright under
International Law as per the Berne Convention (ratified by 179
countries including your country). Respect that!
When Heloise made the transition I, Bertus, did inherit these
tapes. So these Holland tapes belong to my private collection,
are NO selling object and are legally my property. Nevertheless
such does not mean that we do not want to share with those really
interested and so: those who want them can have a copy. Freely we
have received, freely we share. (However, the costs we have to
make must be compensated to us). Apart from the fact that it took
Bertus many years to make these audioregistrations available to
the world (electronically cleansing, preparing simultaneous
translations, etc) Bertus has paid all the costs involved (a lot
of money) out of his own pocket and he has never lacked a cent.
God has beautifully supplied him with all necessary.

There are those who make me, Bertus, reproaches and accuse me
of wanting to keep these Holland Classes only for the Dutch
students and keep them away from the rest of the world. NOTHING
COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH.
That for years Bertus only has been able to publish the
Holland Classes to the Dutch students only is due to the fact
that the Infinite Way world has been teased for years by legal
proceedings. It is always the same: the great teacher is dead and
the followers do quarrel.
The various lawsuits and the problems caused by the late
Geri. Those who have these Holland classes can also testify with
me that these are Spiritually high and very inspiring, uplifting
classes and I am deeply grateful that at last they are available
for the whole world. Also click on announce

One can readily understand that I, Bertus, could do no better
than to stay aloof and not to publish worldwide those Holland
Classes at the time and to await "better times."
Nevertheless in order to avoid the squibblings in the USA I made
provision worldwide to make these classes available for any
student wishing them.
But now the time seems to have come and also transcripts of
these Holland Classes are available and the taperecordings have
been spread out worldwide! In the meantime all the transcripts
have been translated (into Dutch) and the students are thrilled
about them, really. Joel would have been happy I am sure. Now the
1955 - 1959 Holland Classes are available in: audio english //
audio english with simultaneous Dutch translation // English
transcripts// Dutch transcripts. Wonderful isn't. I understand
that my "colleagues" in Germany, France and spanish
territories will in time take care of translating these
transcripts in their native tongues.
In October 2019 I have officially transferred the english
audioregistrations of these classes as well as the from them
derived transcriptions to "the Office" and the present
copyrightholder, Mrs. Sue Ropac has published it for a while on
the first page of their website. Click on announce

Only the simultaneous dutch translations of the Holland
classes 1955 – 1959 as well as the NL-transcripts can be

SPECIAL REMARKS RE THE RECORDINGS.
1) When Bertus- in 1978- took over the translating-activities
from his predecessor-translator, the late Heloise van BrakelMay,
he had various conversations with Heloise, amongst which: about
the taperecordings. Heloise did attend all of Joels classes and
could tell me this: At that time they only had 18cm reel
taperecorders and the 18cm tapes did only last 1 hour, if they
were lucky 1 1/2 hours. Since Joels classes did frequently last
more than 1 - 1 1/12 hours, the class could not be registered in
full, there was simply not enough space for recording. Hence: the
audio begins and/ or stops abruptly. Also: in order not to
disturb Joel, the taperecorder-operator simply changed tapes and
continued the recording. So from those classes about 5 minutes
have not been recorded. One can notice that when listening to the
tape c.q. reading the transcript and having the feeling "I
miss something".. That is those 5 minutes that are not
recorded. nlclass 9 Also: the clearest is this with audio
811/812: what could not be recorded on one tape, just was
recorded on another tape and after that simply another class was
recorded.. See Bertus notes on the 812 transcript. It is no
otherwise. Let us be grateful that what has been recorded -
Spiritually high classes - is available for students all over the
world. .
2)anekdote:
How bad these tapes were, may be clear reading the following:
Two tapes literally did pulverize in Bertus' hands - thanks God
AFTER recording the audio on a CD - s. Just dust. Moreover, these
tapes were full of hissing and other irregularities. It took
Bertus many years of cleansing with special utililies thu the
computer.
3)Since at the time Bertus had a computer with only 20MB HD,
Bertus had to cut Joels tape in 4 parts for better cleansing. In
order to avoid that the wrong parts were melted after cleansing
Bertus had some safety precautions, one of which was: the last
few lines of part 1 = the first few lines of part 2 and the last
few lines of part 2 = the first few lines of part 3, etc. One
will hear Joel say things twice on the audio. That is NOT the
original registration. That is my doing. In the simultaneous
translations into Dutch and the transcripts Bertus has skipped
that of course.
4) At the end of audio Dutch 801 - transcription 8801A (the
1st Holland Closed Class in october, 1955) Joel says something
very important about the classwork. Click on clasroom

5) Bertus:
You can obtain a list of those Holland registrations 1955 -
1959 from Bertus - thru the email free of charge. To give you an
idea:

6) The original 7 inch – large reel – tapes were in
a terribly bad condition, there was much noise and other
irregularities on it, and with computer-utilities I did manage
– after many years of hard work – to cleanse these
tapes and make them available in such a way that the sound is
acceptable for our modern ears. Someone said: “they belong
to the best cleansed tapes in the world.”
Thereafter I took care of the simultaneous translation
(English-Dutch) thereof. Remember that these recordings were made
at the time , more than 60 years ago , with the technical
possibilities existing then. Since I, Bertus, at the time had a
computer with a small hard disk I had to split the recordings in
order to be able to cleanse them. In order to prevent that the
wrong parts would be melted together I built in
“safetychecks” such as: the last few lines of part 1
– the first few lines of part 2, etc. As such no mistakes in
melting them together could be made. You will notice this by Joel
hearing say some phrases twice. I gave you the reason.
7) Do bear in mind that Joel was fiercely opposed to copying
recordings or just give them away to others / possibly not
prepared for it / . So .. PLEASE KEEP THESE REGISTRATIONS TO
YOURSELF. IT IS YOUR RELATIONSHIP C.Q. CONNECTION WITH THE
CONSCIOUSNESS FLOWING THRU JOEL .
In this respect read what Joel said in transcript
8815....(dutch audio...1959 holland class 815):
Joel:
The only reason you are getting more from this than you would
from reading it in a book is because of the consciousness of the
presence of God that has been brought here into your experience.
And the same is with these tapes. You will find that nlclass 17
you get almost as much from these tapes as you do my sitting
here. Because the consciousness of me and of you that is in this
room has gotten into this tape. And when you hear this tape
played back again, it’ll thrill you from head to foot.
It’ll place you right back in the room again. You will hear
the words, you’ll have the feelings that you had here. It
will all be relived … not because of the words, the words
wouldn’t do it for you, there is a consciousness of God
realized in this room. And we are feeling it, and we are
responding to it. And somehow or other, it won’t get on
records, but it gets on this tape. You can’t get it on
record … people have tried and tried and tired, but you
can’t get feelings into a wax record, but you can get it,
and as a matter of fact, it does take place on these tapes. How?
Why? I don’t know the secret. I only know that we know that
I have made records and they are about as dull and uninteresting
to listen to, to me as anything can be, and yet when I hear one
of these tapes I get tingled all over. Because something comes
back to me. There are even times when I am listening to these
tapes when I stop it and say, wait, wait, wait. That didn’t
come from me that came out of God—I didn’t even hear it
when it came. Because that is what is happening when we come to
this room. I wouldn’t come into a room to give a lecture or
a class until in advance I had attained the awareness of
God’s presence. I do it in the hotel before I come out. But
I do it again, when I'm sitting here before I start. And if I
should feel any slackening, I would stop in the middle, and do it
again. nlclass 18 Because, unless I am talking to you through
God, all you're hearing is a man. What went ye out for to
see—a man with a white robe? He’s no good. No good for
you at all. Unless the presence of God is brought to your
awareness, words are only words—thoughts are only thoughts.
